Direct X 9 compliant video card with 512 MB of RAM; And here are the minimum specs for the Special Edition, via Bethesda: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit Version) Intel i5-750/AMD Phenom II X4-945. Exact message: 'Your video hardware was not identified. Video Settings have been set for Low Quality' Its a fresh install, tried deleting ini to refresh, verify integrity in Steam, checked in Skyrim Prefs and it says my GPU under Launcher. GPU Driver uptodate too, still no success. Skyrim Not Detecting NVIDIA Graphics Card x-post /r/skyrimhelp If you follow any of the above links, please respect the rules of reddit and don't vote in the other threads. (Info / ^Contact) level 1. 1 point 4 years ago. Nintendo 3ds animal crossing edition. I don't mean this sarcastically, but google is your friend here. There are countless threads on getting a pc and/or. You're running a 750m you won't be able to play Skyrim Special edition high quality. Its low because that's where your graphics card preforms at. Export numbers to excel with images. I suggest lowering the resolution and turning god rays off and lower everything. You might just be able to get away with 40 frams on medium graphics. Problem: Skyrim Launcher keeps detecting Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 instead of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M Solutions tried (EDIT: AFTER GOOGLING, in case some people think otherwise) Going to NVIDIA Control PanelManage 3D Settings to assign the NVIDIA processoor for Global Settings and Program settings.

When I install the .dll file for the Wrapper version, once I load the Skyrim Launcher, it won't allow me to select my graphics card, but only the integrated card. When I tried installing the Injector version, the game runs normal but withouth the ENB effects.

Copy all injector files to game folder and run enbinjector.exe from it, then it will work properly.

Of course that is exactly what I have already done. It does not work. I just need Skyrim Launcher to recognize my graphics card with the Wrapper verison.

Try deleting RendererInfo.txt from My Games, and if that doesn't do the trick, other preferences as well.

Sorry but I don't know which My Games folder you're talking about. I have read about deleting rendererinfo.txt and skyrim.ini, but i can't find where either of those are located.
Also I am trying to get the Wrapper version to work, not the Injector

My OS is in shambles right now so I can't check, but there should be a My Games/Skyrim folder under Documents or My Documents, depending on your OS.
It doesn't matter which version you want to use, the procedure is the same and likewise as important.

So I tried that, but the launcher still doesn't recognize my graphics card. It only allows me to select my onboard Intel chipset.
I will uninstall the Wrapper version and try the Injector version again, and edit the files in My Games folder this time.

I tried both versions again. No luck. The only way I have been able to run this was with the wrapper version and with my Intel Graphics chipset which, obviously, can't be used to play Skyrim.

Are you sure that d3d9.dll of wrapper is not in game folder? Injector version must not use it. Also some other mods like fxaa/smaa could be the problem if running together. Skyrim launcher process must be named the same as in enbinjector.ini file, then injector will capture it. I hope you started enbinjector.exe before launcher running and don't have some crap with user rights in OS.
